The Nawton Ukes

Kia ora Koutou,

Anei te Roopu o te Ukurere a Noera or otherwise know as the Nawton Ukes’. We have been operating as a School performing Ukulele Group for the past 5 years from 2017 to this present day. Amongst our many accomplishments we have represented our School at the Annual NZ Auckland Ukulele Festivals and performing within our School and wider Community for Special events such as our Bi-Annual Gala Days, Annual School Carols By Candlelight Performances, Special School Assemblies, Bunnings Family Events, Treats in the Park at our local Western Community Centre. Our Nawton Ukes’ offer Group tutoring teaching ‘Newbie’ Uke Players basic chords to play.

The Nawton Ukes Group is designed to build confidence, passion and a love of learning Ukulele. Tutoring is free of charge, the commitment to the Nawton Ukes is attending practises, supporting our fundraising events and following Nawton PRIDE at all times.
